It happens once a year and today is the day. It’s 10-16 day! Some people may wonder why our company is named Ten16 Entertainment, and today seems to be the perfect day to share the meaning behind the name. No, it has nothing to do with the date. Yes, it has everything to do with the Bible. Matthew 10:16 to be exact. After months of trying to figure out a name that had some sort of meaning to me, I stumbled upon Matthew 10:16 (NIV);

“I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.”

The imagery jumped out at me. No matter what we do in life, we are called to be lights in the darkness. We are to be wise, have integrity, and pursue excellence. With those principles in mind, I officially launched Ten16 Entertainment with the intent of doing all I could to help Canadian Christian artists utilizing the skills I had learned both in the classroom and in field. Here we are 7 years later and have had the privileged of doing just that; serving those in our industry the best we can to help them be a stronger light to those around them through the musical gifts God has given them.
